Jadon Sancho has been omitted from Manchester United's latest squad photo amid his row with Erik ten Hag.

The United winger has had a major fallout with Ten Hag, effectively calling him a liar after the Dutchman gave his reasons for leaving him out of the squad to face Arsenal last month.

It has led to Sancho being left out of every subsequent squad while he is not even allowed to train with the first team.

And the latest omission from team activities might be the cruellest having been left out of the official squad photo.

It is the first time since the 2014/15 season that United have taken an in-person squad photo, taking place at the club's Carrington training complex.

A video was posted to United's official TikTok account of all the players gathering for the photo but there was no sign of Sancho.

That might not come as a surprise to those within the camp, who have not seen the 23-year-old for weeks now.

On matchdays, Sancho is neither at the stadium or with the squad and was even spotted watching the Under-18s during one match.

He is not even allowed to eat with his teammates and, reportedly, his meals are carried to him in the academy facility in a black takeaway box adorned with a United badge and a plastic lid.

The former Borussia Dortmund star has been told to apologise to Ten Hag or continue to remain ostracised, talkSPORT understands.

But it looks unlikely that the winger will do so, leaving his United career in limbo.

A move away in January is the most likely scenario, with a return to Dortmund a potential option.

His teammates at United have implored him to reconsider and say sorry to the manager.

But it appears to no avail as the row continues between player and coach.

Sancho joined United in 2021 to a huge fanfare, having signed for a fee of £73million from Dortmund

It was in the Bundesliga where the England international became a hit, registering 50 goals and 64 assists in 137 appearances for them.

However, his time at Old Trafford has been less fruitful, scoring just 12 goals in 82 appearances for the Red Devils.
