The weekend kicks off with its standout fixture, with Manchester City and Liverpool coming to blows at the Etihad Stadium in a battle between the top two teams in the Premier League table heading into the weekend.

Five 3pm kick-offs take place on Saturday, which includes an in-form Chelsea side heading to Tyneside to take on Newcastle in what is likely to be the most entertaining of the lot.

Elsewhere around the country, the Premier League's bottom side Burnley welcome West Ham to Turf Moor, while Crystal Palace make the short trip to Luton, who have just one win to their name so far, and are winless at home.

An out of form Brighton side make the trip to the City Ground to take on Nottingham Forest in another of the 3pm kick offs, while Sheffield United come up against Bournemouth in a huge match at the bottom end of the table.

A London derby takes place in the evening kick off on Saturday, with third place Arsenal, who start the day just a point off the top of the table, making the short trip west to take on Brentford.

Two matches on Sunday see fourth placed Tottenham, themselves only two points off the table's summit despite having lost their last two matches, welcome Aston Villa to North London, who sit just one point and one place below them.

Everton adjust to life under their new points deduction which has seen them fall from 14th to 19th in the table, looking to break out of the relegation zone once again as they look to take maximum points off Manchester United on Sunday afternoon at Goodison Park.

The Premier League weekend comes to a close on Monday night as Fulham and Wolves meet at Craven Cottage in a bottom half clash between teams separated by just three points.
