It's not just the Betfair Chase on Saturday either, racing fans are treat to the Grade 2 Novices' Hurdle as the opener of the day at Haydock.
As well as a strong second race for the Betting.Betfair.com Handicap Chase, with prominent chasers starring including Cheddleton, Mackenberg and Pay The Piper.
There's then a Class 2 Handicap Hurdle which has Coral Cup winner in the Cheltenham Festival, Langer Dan in the early entries after failing to fire at Kempton earlier this month.
Grey Dawning is the strong odds-on favourite for the Graduation Chase, but Challenge Cup winner may have something to say about that with his superior stamina, Gaillard Du Mesnil, should the Willie Mullins-trained horse opt for this race for the seven-year-old.
The Stayers' Handicap Hurdle is a tough contest but offers a huge £71k in prize money for the winner.
Emmet Mullins-trained Slate Lane could still be weighted well having won three in a row, but there's many each-way chances too while there declarations are yet to be made.
The big event though is of course the Grade 1 Betfair Chase.
Bravemansgame and Protektorat are the big favourites for the race and it's the former who is slowly attracting more attention in the market.
Shishkin is an early entrant but he is likely to be heading to Ascot instead for the potentially more suitable 1965 Chase.
