Szoboszlai enjoyed a fruitful international break, drinking a shot after his masterclass secured Hungary's qualification for Euro 2024.

The 23-year-old scored two goals and providing an assist in games against Bulgaria and Montenegro to get his country over the line.

He didn't take long to thrill Liverpool supporters upon his arrival by expressing his love for local hero Gerrard, and taking his no.8 shirt.

Szoboszlai has since played more minutes than any other outfield player at his club this season.

Asked if Szoboszlai had settled quicker than expected in September, Klopp said: "It’s so long ago that he’s here that I’ve forgotten what I thought but since the first minute of training it was pretty impressive.

"That’s how it is. He’s a top bloke, a top guy and it’s easy to step into the team and the dressing room and stuff like this.

"He’s a very naturally confident boy and that helps but it’s super hard work as well and that’s what you see today."

But now that his name has been regularly spoken around England, the man himself made sure that fans have been saying it right.

With the midfielder in his Liverpool kit, the Premier League's social media team asked how to pronounce his name properly, to which he replied ‘Dominik So-bos-lai’.

There had been some misconceptions over whether the ‘sz’ sounds were pronounced as a ‘sh’ in English, but Szoboszlai has now simply revealed his name is pretty much as it’s written.

Now all that is left is to learn how to spell it without checking…
