Sitting top of Group G qualification, Hungary have plenty to thank Szoboszlai for following another stunning individual performance.

The 23-year-old scored twice in the space of three minutes to help his country come back from behind to claim the crucial three points.

He first showed why the Reds forked out £60million to sign him from RB Leipzig in July by running rings around Montenegro's defence.

Surging forward, he squeezed between two players in the penalty area before skipping past a third as he approached the six-yard box on his right foot.

He then drilled an effort past the goalkeeper and into the bottom corner of the net to get Hungary back on level terms.

Just two minutes later, he showed great composure to pick up the ball inside the penalty area before slotting home to put the hosts ahead.

As a result, the midfielder now has five goal contributions in his last three Hungary appearances.

Victory over Montenegro secured Hungary's qualification for Euro 2024, with Szoboszlai getting involved with the celebrations post-match.
