  • Sancho latest

Jadon Sancho's potential move to Juventus could be helped by the arrival of Sir Jim Ratcliffe, according to Tuttosport.

Ratcliffe looks set to employ former Juve executive Jean-Claude Blanc as Manchester United's new CEO.

And Blanc could well play a role in trying to get a deal done with his old club to allow exiled winger Sancho to leave the club.

He is reported to still hold a strong relationship with the Italian giants.

  • Varane to Bayern?

Bayern Munich have discussed signing Manchester United defender Raphael Varane, according to Sky Sports Germany.

Negotations have not started yet but the Bundesliga giants are keen on bringing the Frenchman to the club.

Varane seems to have fell out of favour at Man United this season, with Erik ten Hag starting Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans over him.

Chelsea's Trevoh Chalobah is also an option for Bayern as they look to add a new centre-back to their ranks.

  • 'I will pull strings'

Manchester City star Bernardo Silva has revealed that he will try to convince Joao Neves to reject Manchester United.

Silva discussed the Portuguese wonderkid's future amid links to a possible future move to Old Trafford.

“I’d like to see João joining City instead of Man United, of course!”

  • No move for Neves

Ruben Neves is not expected to leave Al Hilal this winter amid interest from Newcastle, according to The Athletic.

The Magpies admire Neves but their shared majority shareholder with the Saudi club led to some doubts over a potential move.

Due to this, the Premier League are keen on a temporary ban for clubs making deals with other teams under the same ownership.

However, the Portugal international is now reported to be staying at Al Hilal irrespective of the controversy.

Neves only left England in June and it seems he will be remaining in the Middle East past the January window.

  • Jorginho contract talks

Arsenal have been set a deadline for talks over extending Jorginho's deal at the club.

The Italian signed from London rivals Chelsea in January on a one-and-a-half year contract in a £12million deal.

With his contract expiring in June, he is therefore just seven months away from becoming a free agent.

Jorginho has made eight starts for Arsenal this season and was nearly a Premier League title winner with them last term.

However, with little time remaining on his current deal, his agent Joao Santos has issued a timeframe for the club to extend his stay.

Speaking to TUTTOmercatoWEB on the current situation regarding his client's future in north London, he said: "Everything is at a standstill.

"We'll think about it after February. However, the priority remains Arsenal."

Tottenham are reportedly readying an offer for Raphinha - and they are prepared to throw in an important player to tempt them.

Ange Postecoglou is aiming to rectify his squad depth issue in January and has eyed the Barcelona star for a potential arrival.

And he is prepared to offer vice-captain Cristian Romero as part of the deal to take the Brazilian, according to Spanish outlet Sport.

Barca have slapped a £61million price tag on their winger, a year after leaving Elland Road for £50m.

It is a fee that Spurs are not ready to meet but they are ready to offer a player as a makeweight.

And that player is Romero, who has been on Barcelona's radar since he was at Atalanta.

  • Chelsea move for Toney

Chelsea are strongly considering making an offer for Ivan Toney this January, according to football.london.

The Brentford striker is set to return from his eight-month ban in the new year and the Blues are ready to swoop in.

Arsenal are also reported to be interested, with a battle set to ensue during the winter window.

  • 'I was very nervous'

Declan Rice has admitted that he felt some pressure after making his £105million move from West Ham to Arsenal.

Speaking to The Telegraph, Rice said: “When the transfer was going through I was very nervous because of the price tag.

“It’s natural to think about that. You’re a human being bought for £105m, it doesn’t feel very normal.

“But that was because of what I’d done at West Ham, what they valued me at.

"When I signed for Arsenal I just thought, ‘I just need to be Declan Rice’, be myself, don’t be any different, everything will go smoothly.

“The first three weeks of pre-season were really tough in terms of the change.

"When you’re at a new job you start to feel really settled after a few weeks. That really feels the case now.

"In terms of the price tag, I don’t really think about it, I just play the games and try to play as well as possible.”

  • Neves not for sale

Benfica have no intention of selling wonderkid Joao Neves this January, according to Fabrizio Romano.

  • Antonio injury

West Ham fear Michail Antonio is facing a lengthy lay-off with a knee injury, talkSPORT understands.

Antonio has been sent home from international duty with Jamaica after hobbling off during their 2-1 Nations League defeat to Canada.

That could lead the Hammers to delve into the market in January in search of a new striker.

Dominic Solanke has been reported as a possible option this winter.

  • Spurs move for Iling-Junior

Juventus are open to selling England U21 international Samuel Iling-Junior this January, according to Football Insider.

Juve will accept an 'attractive' bid for Iling-Junior, meaning Spurs could get the deal done if they pay the right price.

  • Griezmann to United?

Antoine Griezmann has emerged as a spectacular transfer target for Manchester United.

Reports in Spain claim the Red Devils are putting together a package for the Frenchman.

He's started the season in fine form at Atletico Madrid, scoring 12 goals in all competitions.

But despite only recently rejoining Atletico permanently, El Nacional claim there is a £22million release clause in Griezmann's contract.

The versatile French forward would add some real class to Erik ten Hag's squad, but he's 32 now, so you would think this is more likely to be a short-term fix rather than a long-term signing.

  • 'One of the best professionals'

Declan Rice has praised England teammate Kalvin Phillips amid his Manchester City struggles.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Rice said: “He’s one of the best professionals I’ve ever seen, if I’m honest with you.

“I’ve seen players who don’t play and throw their toys out of the pram completely and with Kal, every time he comes back here he pops on a shirt and puts in 110 per cent.

“He played with me against Scotland and I think that was his first start in a while and he played really well, so I’ll never question his professionalism and I don’t think any of the lads will.

“As a person as well, he’s an all-round top guy and he brings that onto the pitch.

“It’s obviously difficult when you’re not playing as a footballer and I know he wants to be playing more, for sure, but mentally he hasn’t broken.

“He hasn’t thrown his toys out of the pram. He gives everything every day, he still improves and still plays with a smile on his face so I can’t speak highly enough of him.”

  • Jostling for Jobe

Jobe Bellingham is attracting interest from top European clubs as he continues to impress at Sunderland.

The midfielder could be approached to join his brother Jude at Real Madrid, according to Calciomercato.

Bellingham is hoping to follow in his brother's footsteps and clubs will be aware of how good he can become if he does so.

Arsenal are set to win the race to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic this January, according to TuttoJuve.

  • Maatsen open to Chelsea exit

Chelsea youngster Ian Maatsen has hinted that he could leave Stamford Bridge if he doesn't get more first-team opportunities.

The versatile left-footer rejected a late move to Burnley on transfer deadline day in the summer after a successful loan spell with the Clarets last season.

But since then, he's only played 271 minutes for the Blues, with other players getting in ahead of Maatsen, and though he's not giving up, he suggested he could leave.

Speaking to AD, he said: "I still think it’s possible to play more at Chelsea.

"Accepting [you won’t play] is difficult, as a young boy you always want more. I get confidence from the manager’s words and I am ready when the opportunity comes.

"Meanwhile, I have to keep all options open. Maybe, I’ll have to make a difficult decision later on, but then Chelsea will also let me know."

  • Fernandes responds to Saudi rumours

Bruno Fernandes has become one of the latest Premier League stars to be linked with a move to Saudi Arabia.

It was reported earlier this month that the Portuguese international's agent had opened talks with an unnamed Saudi Pro League club over a transfer to the Middle East.

However, the Manchester United captain has shot those claims down and is fully focused on his career at Old Trafford.

While on international duty, he said: “I’m focusing on the national team and United. I’m happy where I am. In the national team, we had some very good times, at Manchester United, we didn’t start the way we wanted.

“I don’t look at rumours. I don’t pay attention to them. Today, it’s very easy to spread rumours in the press. I prefer to concentrate on my goals .”
