Keep up to date with all the latest transfer news, gossip and rumours from the Premier League in talkSPORT’s live blog.

England's top-flight spent a record £2.36billion on new players in the summer but the search for new players is already underway.

The winter window doesn't open officially until January 1 but the top clubs are already planning their next moves in order to get a head start.

Follow our live blog below for all the latest news from the Premier League…

  • Capello loves Phillips

Kalvin Phillips will be one of the main transfer stories in January, with Newcastle, Liverpool and Tottenham all keen.

Juventus have also been linked and the move to Italy has been endorsed by former England boss Fabio Capello.

The ex-Real Madrid manager is a huge fan of Phillips.

Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, he said: “Phillips is in the English national team, and in his time at Leeds, always seemed to me to be a complete midfielder.”

  • Edwards in line for shock Premier League return

Marcus Edwards was once seen as one of the Premier League's brightest prospects.

But it never quite worked out at Tottenham, and he moved on.

The Englishman is currently plying his trade in Portugal with Sporting.

However, reports in Italy suggest Spurs are ready to take advantage of a cheeky clause.

Tottenham are entitled to 35 per cent of any future sale, which means if they were to buy him, they would only need to pay 65 per cent of Edwards' £52million release clause.

  • Andre a no-go

Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move for Brazilian midfielder Andre, with some sources suggesting it's pretty much a done deal.

However, football journalist David Lynch claims the Reds are not panning a January move.

Andre currently plays for Fluminense, and he was a target in summer.

But with Jurgen Klopp's new-look midfield starting to fire, Liverpool have turned their attention elsewhere.

This could open the door for Arsenal or Fulham.

  • Diallo shock target for Wolves

Manchester United's injured winger Amad Diallo is emerging as a possible target for Wolves.

Football Transfers claim the Ivorian is a player that Gary O'Neil and the hierarchy like.

They have reportedly contacted the Red Devils over a loan move.

Diallo shone for Sunderland last year in the Championship and is a long-term Wolves target.

He's currently out with a knee injury but should be back by the start of the new year.

  • Tottenham search for Van de Ven replacement

Micky van de Ven has been one of the best signings of the summer but he's likely to be out for a few months after appearing to snap his hamstring on Monday night.

The Dutchman attempted to chase after Nicolas Jackson in Tottenham's 4-1 defeat to Chelsea and pulled up before being carried off the pitch.

He's awaiting a scan, but things don't look good and the Evening Standard claim Spurs will look to recruit a defender in the winter transfer window.

talkSPORT understands that Lloyd Kelly is one of their top targets and this injury might accelerate that potential deal.

  • Casemiro exit on cards

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro is one of several Premier League players being lined up for a move to Saudi Arabia.

90min claim the Saudi Pro League want to bring the Brazilian to the Middle East and are contemplating a January offer.

The former Real Madrid midfielder cost £70million and is earning around £300,000 per week.

But this year, he has struggled for form and fitness and the Red Devils could be open to a sale.

  • Antony's agents rule out exit

Manchester United winger Antony has been linked with a bizarre swap move back to Brazil with Gabriel Barbosa coming the other way.

But his agents have told South American journalist Jorge Nicola that won't be happening.

And a return to South America has been ruled out.

The Brazilian international was expected to push on this season after adapting to life in England last year, but he's failed to score a goal this season.

Given Man United spent £82million on his signature, it's no wonder the club are potentially looking at ways to move him on.

  • Hello, and welcome back to talkSPORT.com's live transfer blog.

Let's start by looking at the biggest story.

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is set to end his stay in north London after reportedly informing the Gunners he wants to leave.

Reports in Italy suggest the Ghanaian is eyeing a fresh start in January.

Juventus are among the clubs interested in signing Partey in the winter transfer window.

The midfielder hasn't featured that much this year, so the Gunners might also believe it's time Partey moves on.

  • Nuno-oh-no

Former Tottenham manager Nuno Espirito Santo is on the verge of being sacked by Saudi Arabia side Al-Ittihad, according to reports.

It's claimed the Portuguese boss had a big argument in the dressing room with star player Karim Benzema.

Al-Ittihad - Pro League champions under Nuno last season - suffered a 2-0 defeat to Iraqi club Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya in the AFC Champions League group stage last night.

According to Relevo, the Saudi outfit are now searching for a French coach to please Benzema and fellow Les Bleus star N'Golo Kante.

  • Belle of the bell

More from Frank Lampard heaping praise on Jude Bellingham after revealing Chelsea's failed move to sign him.

Speaking to former team-mate Jon Obi Mikel's Obi One podcast, he said: “The boy's incredible. To go and do what he's done in Madrid, with the pressure that comes in a club that big and a city that big, at his age…

"When I was managing at Chelsea I was desperate to bring Jude Bellingham in. Jim Fraser, from the academy, kept showing him to me and I was overwhelmed. He was 17 at the time.

"But I couldn't get it through upstairs - the idea of paying £20m for someone his age.

"But what he's done from there, himself, the stature of him, his manner, how he's played and handled things - the world is his oyster. Where's his ceiling? At the moment, you can't see it.

"I've met his mum and dad, he's very grounded, he can do what he wants. If England have success over the coming years, which I think they probably can, he'll be absolutely central to it."

  • Count him in

Notts County have followed in the footsteps of rivals Wrexham by signing a former Premier League star.

The League Two high-flyers have agreed a short-term deal for Dan Gosling in a free transfer.

The 33-year-old midfielder was a free agent after his Watford contract expired in the summer, having previously played for Everton, Newcastle and Bournemouth in the top flight.

Gosling has penned a deal until January 6 as injury cover after Matt Palmer was ruled out for the rest of the season.

The deal, which County say brings 'experience and pedigree' to their promotion bid, follows similar deals from old National League rivals and now fellow League Two competitors Wrexham.

The Hollywood-backed club brought in Ben Foster to aid their successful National League title bid last season, and this term have added Steven Fletcher and James McClean.

Both promoted clubs have enjoyed a fine start to life back in the Football League, with Notts second and Wrexham third in the League Two table, level on points after 16 games.

  • Red light

Liverpool target Andre Trindade's agent has explained how Fluminense were adamant he would not leave during the summer.

Speaking to Ge Globo, his agent said: “[The president] came to me and said that Fluminense had no interest in selling Andre this year.

"I talked to the player, explained it to him, and he bought the idea. We agreed that it would only be traded from January 2024 onwards.

“There were actually several proposals, all of which came to me I forwarded to Mario, but aware that there would be no negotiation. Unless Fluminense changed its mind.

"He had no reason to sit with me, he is not obliged to sell anyone. But he had this concern. He doesn't have that arrogance and arrogance that some people have: ‘Look for my director’."

  • Richarli-gone

Spurs have suffered a blow with news striker Richarlison is set for surgery to correct a long-term issue.

The Brazilian was linked with a switch to Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad in September after flopping since his £60million move from Everton.

Any potential January exit may now be in doubt after Richarlison has confirmed in an emotional interview with ESPN Brazil that he is facing a period out.

“The last few months haven’t been easy for me,” said the tearful Tottenham ace.

“I’ve had health problems. I've already talked to the doctors and I'll soon have surgery on my pubic bone.

“I’ve been suffering, fighting for my national team and my club for eight months and haven’t been taking care of myself.

“I think it’s time to rest, to stop for a second. I’ll think about it in the next few days and soon I will do what is best for me.”

  • Bee sting

Jamie Carragher believes Arsenal should try to sign Ivan Toney.

Speaking on Monday Night Football, Carragher said: "Ivan Toney could elevate Arsenal. He's a different type of striker and I'm a huge fan of his.

"In terms of quality, there's no doubt it's there. But to take Arsenal to the Premier League title? I think Arsenal might have to take that chance because if they don't fix that position - and the goalkeeping one too - I think it's going to be very difficult for them to overhaul Manchester City."

  • Hammer blow

Simon Jordan has claimed it would be the wrong decision for West Ham not to offer manager David Moyes a new contract.

He told talkSPORT: “The team’s going well this year. Okay, they got beat in the last couple of games, but they’re 11th in the league, they’re doing well in Europe.

“We have these sort of micro-moments where all of a sudden we get to hear from a dissenting group of the West Ham fans about what they don’t like about David Moyes.

“I think, tragically for him, if West Ham’s board are prepared to let his contract drift till the end of the season and not secure him, they either think they can’t go anywhere else, or there’s no value in him.

“That means that there’s a possibility that David will be departing West Ham, and I think that that’s to West Ham’s loss. If he wants to go as a Director of Football at 60 years of age, I would be surprised because I think he’s full of beans and full of energy.”

  • To be Frank

Frank Lampard has revealed that he tried to sign Jude Bellingham during his first stint in charge of Chelsea.

But Lampard admitted Stamford Bridge chiefs were reluctant to pay Bellingham's £20million asking price at the time.

During a recent appearance on the Obi One Podcast, Lampard said: "When I was managing at Chelsea (first time) I was desperate to bring Jude Bellingham in.

"But I couldn't get it through upstairs - the idea of paying £20m for someone his age (at the time)…"

  • Gunner miss out

Manchester United have joined Arsenal in the race to sign Galatasaray right-back Sacha Boey.

French outlet RMC Sport claim that United are still on the lookout for a right-back and have made 'enquiries' into luring him to Old Trafford.

Boey has already made 20 appearances this season, scoring once.

  • Talk of the toon

Newcastle sporting director Dan Ashworth has responded to Gary Neville's pleas for him to fix Manchester United.

“That (break up the so-called Big Six) is the vision of the football club,” said Ashworth, who laughed off praise from Neville suggesting he would be a perfect appointment at Old Trafford.

“The next number of years [the plan] is to fight and get into the top six on a regular basis and compete for trophies.

“I’m really pleased with the direction this club is heading. When I agreed to join, which was February 2022, I think Newcastle United were 19th in the league.

“I had a period where I didn’t start work until the end of May. Then we finished fourth last year, got to our first cup final in a number of years. Now we’re still in the cup, still in the Champions League and still fighting for the top four again in the Premier League so I’m really pleased in that context.

“There’s also the wider thing where we’ve seen huge improvements to the training ground, the women’s team have gone full-time and got promoted last year. We’ve got some really good young players out on loan, some players coming through the academy system…”

  • Art of the deal

Piers Morgan wants Mikel Arteta to bring Aaron Ramsdale back into the Arsenal team and axe David Raya.

"I still don't get the [David] Raya thing in goal," Morgan told talkSPORT.

"On the goal that should never have been allowed, he made yet another cock-up.

"Aaron Ramsdale is watching week after week. Is Raya showing anyone he is an upgrade from Ramsdale? I don't think he is.

"I think unfortunately all the pressure was created entirely by Arteta, who said he was going to have two number ones.

"Nobody believed that when he said it, and it is clear he thinks Raya is his number one.

"I don't think most Arsenal fans look at this situation still confident in our goalkeeper.

"So he [Mikel Arteta] has managed to destabilise the goalkeeper situation; he hasn't bought a world-class striker, and I think these are big question marks on Arteta.

"If he really looked at last season when we choked the title and thought, how do we go and win the title?

"Getting Declan Rice was brilliant, but he did not get a striker, and he has cocked-up the goalkeeper thing.

"Personally, I would bring back Ramsdale with a point to prove. I think he is a better goalkeeper.

"I don't care what fancy footwork Raya does; if he can't stop goals, then I am afraid he should not be in goal.

"The primary function of a goalkeeper is to stop goals from being scored, not to play like Zinedine Zidane."

  • Red alert

Liverpool are reportedly among the clubs lining up a move for Napoli star Piotr Zielinski.

The midfielder is poised to become a free agent next summer having failed to agree a new contract with the reigning Serie A champions.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Liverpool are preparing to open talks over a move.

The report adds that Napoli could even entertain a January exit rather than risk losing the Poland star for nothing next summer.

  • Poch luck

Mauricio Pochettino's love for Tottenham is well known, and the Argentine refused to rule out returning to the club in the future.

Pochettino spent five years managing Spurs and guided them to four successive top four Premier League finishes and the 2019 Champions League final.

But, when asked whether he could see himself managing Spurs again in the future, the 51-year-old simply replied: "Why not?"

He added: "Hopefully, I can stay here [at Chelsea] until I die, for 20/25 years but you never know what is going to happen tomorrow.

"I am 51 and thinking more about enjoying today, not looking too much into the future, but you never know.

"It’s a club for sure if I’m not working maybe and if they want me one day, why not?"

  • Ant man

Manchester United could reportedly offload Brazilian flop Antony in January after his poor start at Old Trafford.

The 23-year-old has struggled since his £85.5million switch from Ajax last year, scoring just eight times in 54 appearances.

Antony, who is yet to get on the scoresheet in any of the 10 games he's played this season, is now on the chopping block.

According to The Mirror, United could offer Antony in a part exchange deal for Flamengo forward Gabriel Barbosa.

Such a deal would see the winger, whose contract is not set to expire until 2027, return to his homeland on a part-exchange loan.

  • Marc his words

Marcus Rashford has told a Manchester United fan channel to 'stop spreading malicious rumours'.

Rashford responded to a post by fan account 'The United Stand' on X, formerly Twitter.

The video was titled 'Rashford's future in doubt?' and he replied: "Please STOP spreading malicious rumours."

The England star recently signed a new long-term contract at the club.

talkSPORT understands there are few doubts over Rashford's future right now after his contract situation was resolved in the summer.

  • Ironclad support?

David Moyes is not in imminent danger of being sacked by West Ham depsite a run of one win in six Premier League games, talkSPORT understands.

However, it is unlikely at this stage the Scot will be offered a new managerial contract when his current deal expires next summer.

The Hammers are currently 11th in the Premier League table after 11 games.

  • Phil your boots

Kalvin Phillips is on the January shortlist of a host of Premier League clubs including Liverpool and Newcastle, talkSPORT understands.

Phillips is likely to push for a move away from Manchester City after failing to convince Pep Guardiola he is worthy of a run in the first-team.

talkSPORT exclusively revealed that Phillips was on Liverpool’s radar during the summer transfer window.

Fulham are also eyeing the England midfielder as a potential replacement for Bayern Munich target Joao Palhinha.

Sandro Tonali’s 10-month betting ban brings Newcastle firmly into the equation, especially if there is a push-back from Premier League rivals to them signing players from Saudi Arabia.

Tottenham are another side who are understood to be monitoring Phillips’s situation but he is unlikely to hold down a regular place in their midfield.
