Manchester United will consider cashing in on Casemiro, talkSPORT understands.

The Brazilian ace is the latest Premier League star being targeted for a big-money move to Saudi Arabia.

United’s incoming minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who will lead the club’s sporting department, is believed to be open to offers for the 31-year-old to help fund an Old Trafford rebuild.

United paid £60million to sign Casemiro, also one of their top earners, from Real Madrid in the summer of 2022 and he played a key role in Erik ten Hag’s side finishing third and reaching two cup finals last season.

But the five-time Champions League winner has suffered from an alarming dip in form this term and is currently sidelined by a hamstring injury.

  • Tor blimey

Newcastle are among the clubs interested in signing Barcelona star Ferran Torres, according to reports.

Spanish outlet Fichajes claim that former Manchester City star Torres is one of the sellable assets Barca can flog this summer.

The 23-year-old fell out of favour at the Camp Nou following the arrival of Robert Lewandowski just months after he joined from City.

Newcastle have now been touted as the club to allow the attacker to return to the Premier League in a £35million move.
