Tottenham have confirmed the departures of Tanguy Ndombele and Davinson Sanchez to Turkish club Galatasaray.

During the summer, Ndombele was linked with an exit from Spurs as boss Ange Postecoglou admitted his squad was 'too big'.

He enjoyed a successful loan spell last season at Napoli as they won their first Serie A title since 1990.

Ndombele, who has not featured at all for Spurs this season, is now now set for another season away from north London with Galatasaray taking him on loan with an option to buy.

Meanwhile, Sanchez joins Galatasaray on a permanent deal believed to be in the region of £12.8m.

With Galatasary drawn in Group A for the group stages, the pair look set to be reunited with his former Spurs teammate Harry Kane.

Last month, the striker completed a move to Bayern Munich from north London in a deal worth more than £100million.

Kane scored 280 goals for Spurs across 435 appearances, and it hasn't taken him long to show such impressive form at Bayern.

The 30-year-old has already netted three times in his opening four games for the club, who hope he can lead them to European glory.

Also in Group A are Manchester United, a side that Ndombele has won just once against in four meetings during his career.

FC Copenhagen will also come up against Ndombele and Sanchez's new side, with the two clubs meeting on September 20 in Turkey.

Ndombele and Sanchez's debuts for Galatasary, who have also signed Hakim Ziyech and Wilfried Zaha from Chelsea and Crystal Palace respectively, could come on the weekend prior.

They are due to face Samsunspor in the Super Lig, with the Turkish champions third in the table after three games.
